I don’t talk much, I just let the beats play...

About Krazyfingaz

The self-taught instrumentalist and mix engineer born Theodore Baylor is a native to Baltimore Maryland. Before beat making, creating original samples, engineering or even known by the pseudonym Krazyfingaz; the soon to be producer’s musical journey would begin at the early age of 10 as he was a member of the youth choir at Gwynn Oak United Methodist Church where he attended with his grandparents. Years later as a teenager he would not only be inspired by the likes of Nas, Wu-tang clan, De la Soul, Jay Dee (Dilla), Slum Village and many rappers and groups during that time to write and emcee but also his cousin who he looked up to wrote poetry and also was a rapper whom introduced him to Hip Hop at a young age, was a major influence on him. After watching his friends engage in many cyphers during lunch and after school at Southwestern Senior High School where he attended, he began to put his thoughts on paper in rhyme form. It wasn’t until after Mr. Baylor’s best friend heard him spit a verse who also emceed, convinced him to form a group. After some time of rapping over industry instrumental CDs they would buy from the record store, both found they needed original beats but did not know anyone that made them let alone have access to equipment. Not having the means for an MPC, a copy of Playstations’s MTV music Generator was purchased and given to him by his good friend/group member, and that’s where KF was introduced to music production. After the group decided to go their separate ways musically, Krazyfingaz continued to hone his craft in music production and began enter into Beat Battles to releasing a number of instrumental projects, an “experimental Jazz” idea under the moniker “Miles Coltrane” and collaborations with other artist and producers to crafting original samples and designing sounds for his music library Four Twelve Alumn. Taking the initiative to learn the basics of mixing eventually led KF to work on not only his personal projects but also having his services requested by other artists. As a current Audio Production student at Full Sail University, Krazyfingaz continues to challenge himself to become better at what he does.
